I am so pleased to finally be able to share with you my new Design Team placement, I applied to join ArtiCrafts by Rebecca and was thrilled to bits when I found out I had been chosen to join her team.

My first challenge was to design a teapot from one of Rebecca’s cutting templates and after thinking about it for a while I thought that I would combine it with my love for Alice in Wonderland and here is what I came up with.

I was rummaging in a recycling shop yesterday and bought some punchinello ribbon and ran it through my Big Shot and really like the effect I got so I teamed that up with some sentiment toppers I had from Hunkydory and I really like the simple, elegant effect these gave to my cards.

A wonderful Trimmie friend sent me some lovely items to use in my charity card making and so I made her a card to say thank you – I got this stamps set for a fabulous price at Dawn Bibby’s and couldn't wait to use it – I have since been back and bought another similar in the range, as I LOVE frogs!! Been a long time…….

I have had a bit of a holiday from blogging to catch up with real life and I have managed to have a lovely rest and have done some decorating but am now ready to get stuck back in with some card making projects – I have managed to fit in some crafting along the way in the past couple of weeks and I have added a few bits and pieces here – hope you didn't miss me too much lol

The purpose of our Send a Smile 4 Kids blog is twofold: to promote the cause SAS4Kids which is to collect donated cards to cheer up hospitalized kids in Children's Hospitals and to share ideas and have fun with challenges for stampers.

FAB Craft Classes - see what I've been up to!

Hi there and good crafternoon to you all! I thought I would share with you some projects I have created at classes I have been to using the techniques I have been taught. I have been attending Caroles Crafts Classes for about a month now and I am hooked - You know when you think you know it all and have seen everything? THINK AGAIN!! lol

The wonderful Jackie Henderson is the host of these fantastic classes I have been attending so far and you can catch up with her at Wakki Jackies Crafts Please pop along and join her blog she has just started this and so its in it infant stages but I know she would just love to have you.

Jackie is a well known watercolour artist and has worked alongside many other fabtastic crafters such as Dawn Bibby, Tim Holtz, Joanna Sheen, Suze Weinberg, Paula Pascual, Lindsay Mason, Leonie Pujol and Amy Shaw to name but a very few!

Pop over to Caroles Crafts Facebook Page and find a Shop near you, check out the craft classes availiable and book early to avoid dissapointment they fill up really fast.

It's that time of the year when PTD have a call for new DT members to join our DT!

We are looking for:
2 x DT members

The chosen DT members will need to have/do the following things:
Have their own blog
Be able to commit to making a card(s) for our challenge each week
Have time to comment on all entries (exception to busy times)
Be able to join in special occasions
Get on well with our other DT members
Be committed to the DT

Anniversary card

This is the anniversary card I have made for my mum and dad!

I have coloured this with polycromos pencils and blended with solvents - I am very happy with the outcome, especially as it is the first time I have used the technique!
